ARM Hub CEO Cori Stewart awarded Churchill Fellowship

BRISBANE, QLD - Professor Cori Stewart FTSE has been awarded the 2026 Churchill Fellowship, joining a network of changemakers shaping Australia’s future at the Winston Churchill Trust.  

Professor Stewart is among 75 Australians selected to learn directly from world-leading experts and organisations to inspire innovation, influence policy and drive positive change.  

"What I love about the Winston Churchill Trust is their purpose. The fellowships support people who have proven, time and again, that they can uniquely solve a problem and make a real difference,” said Professor Stewart.  

“It doesn't matter what your status or background is. What matters is your ability to do something tangible in the world." 

Making Australian manufacturing globally competitive 

Professor Stewart’s fellowship project will investigate how Australia can use smarter robots to make its manufacturing more globally competitive.  

The project springs from her belief that new technology should strengthen Australian industries, communities and national resilience, rather than foster dependence. 

“This notion became especially real during the pandemic, when I worked with Australian manufacturers to rapidly develop a medical respirator,” said Professor Stewart.  

"Since then, I have continued to see how manufacturing capability matters in moments of crisis, whether it’s responding to disrupted supply chains and supporting medical needs or creating secure, high-value jobs across Australia’s regions.” 

As part of the fellowship, Professor Stewart will travel across multiple countries that are building and deploying intelligent robots to identify technologies that can be harnessed to strengthen national sovereign capability.
