ARM Hub joins hands with Quantum Australia for new internship program
ARM Hub has partnered with Quantum Australia to launch the inaugural Deep Tech Innovation Internship (DTI2), a paid opportunity designed to connect emerging talent with real-world industry challenges.
Working alongside ARM Hub engineers and technology specialists, participants will contribute to technical projects and proof-of-concept solutions based on industry needs.
The program is designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and industrial application, equipping students with practical experience while delivering value to industry and research.
“It’s a great way to connect the next generation of talent with the businesses and technologies that will shape the future,” said Guy Barry, Strategic Partnerships Development Manager at Quantum Australia.
“We’re excited to work with ARM Hub and get students to engage directly with industry and explore how emerging quantum technologies could address real-world challenges.”
Who Should Apply?
The program is aimed at final-year undergraduate, honours, postgraduate and early-stage PhD students with backgrounds in engineering, computer science, physics, applied mathematics, data science or operations research.
Participants should bring a combination of academic achievement, technical capability and professional maturity, with an interest in applying emerging technologies to real-world industry challenges.
With both a 12-week semester format and a 24-week intensive placement option available, the internship offers flexibility for students at different stages of their studies.
Discovery Workshop
Ahead of the program launch, ARM Hub and Quantum Australia will host a discovery workshop on 10 September from 10 am to 12 pm, followed by a networking lunch.
Attendees will hear from experts at Quantum Australia and ARM Hub, explore how quantum technologies can address real industry challenges, and learn more about opportunities to secure a paid internship through the program.
“This is one of the more unique development opportunities available and a rare chance to help shape how emerging technologies might be applied in industry long before they become mainstream,” said Allison Bambrick, Executive Manager at ARM Hub.
