We’re excited to be a proud supporter of  Industrial Transformation Australia 2025, happening 22–24 July at The Dome, Sydney Olympic Park. ARM Hub CEO and Founder Cori Stewart will be presenting on the main stage on July 22, outlining a national mission for industrial transformation.

A national mission for industrial transformation

Australia stands at a critical crossroads. While global competitors rapidly embrace AI and automation, many of our industrial businesses—particularly small and medium-sized enterprises—are struggling to keep pace. This gap not only puts our global competitiveness at risk but also represents a missed economic opportunity worth billions.

The stakes are high. Responsible adoption of AI and automation has the potential to contribute $115 billion to Australia’s GDP annually by 2030. But to realise this potential, we must act decisively—and collectively.

Driving the next phase of industrial growth

In this keynote, Professor Stewart outlines a bold vision for Australia’s industrial transformation. The path forward demands more than just technology upgrades—it requires a national mission that brings together enterprise innovation, R&D commercialisation, and sovereign capability.

We must focus on building globally competitive, AI-enabled enterprises that can attract investment, scale rapidly, and integrate into international supply chains. This is how we secure a future where Australian industry leads—not lags—in the AI age.

Key learnings:
1. Industrial transformation is a national imperative

Australia’s productivity and competitiveness depend on strategic coordination, long-term investment, and stronger links with global supply chains. This is not a niche agenda—it’s a national mission.

2. AI is critical for enterprise competitiveness

AI enables Australian businesses of all sizes to compete globally. Without it, our SMEs risk falling behind international counterparts who are already leveraging advanced technologies.

3. Robotics and automation are the next frontier

As the world enters the age of generative AI-enabled automation, Australia must act now to stake its position in this rapidly evolving landscape.

This is a defining moment for Australian industry. With the right strategy, investment, and leadership, we can build a future where our manufacturing sector thrives in a digitally driven global economy.
