SMBtech reported that expressions of interest for the Queensland Manufacturing AI Uplift Trial Program close at close of business on Friday 6 November 2026. The program, run by ARM Hub, co-funds 80 per cent of AI services and puts ARM Hub engineers alongside the businesses selected.
Shortlisted manufacturers build an AI roadmap with ARM Hub at no cost. A joint ARM Hub and Queensland Government panel then picks the Flagship Companies, which share up to $750,000. Eligible firms employ 5 to 500 full-time equivalent staff, have at least half their workforce in Queensland and have traded in the state for two years. At least one Flagship Project is reserved for a manufacturer outside Greater Brisbane.
