Queensland manufacturing showcased through statewide industry month

Australian Manufacturing reported on Queensland Manufacturing Month, a statewide September program covering advanced technologies, industry capability and career pathways. Businesses from Warwick to Townsville opened their doors for Inside Advanced Manufacturing. The state government puts the sector at nearly 170,000 jobs and about $29 billion a year.

ARM Hub founder and CEO Professor Cori Stewart said the month was a chance to recognise the sector's capability and its workforce, and that the greatest opportunity for Queensland manufacturing lies in connecting industry with research, skills, investment and technology.
